This is our ice-skating rink!  The ducks are so enjoying the warm weather!
And, so are we!!!!

And, today we went on a MUD HIKE! What is a MUD HIKE?

There was a little bit of mud! Much Exploration! and a LOT of FUN!

And, thanks to David and Noah's mom, and Sandy (her service dog, Doug, was sick today), and our new friend, Molly, for having so much fun with us!

AND, THE PUPPETS ARE MADE!

And, now it’s PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
We will be practicing our scripts every day. Thank you for working with your firsties at home as well. You are invited (formal invitation to come later) to our Puppet Play on Thursday, March 26th at 1:45 in the Media Center.

This week we learned how a pictograph can give us information about any subject.  Here is our Class Pictograph:

We can count and compare numbers.  And, we can practice the concepts of more and fewer.  We will be reading and creating our own graphs in the next few weeks.  We will continue to work on addition and subtraction facts with totals to 18 as well as number patterns.

And, as spring arrives, remember that we will be spending a LOT of time outdoors. We will have another Friday Outdoor Exploration next week (Friday, March 20th) at 2:00.

What a wonderful time of year to be in first grade!
