We had a wonderful hike to "Our Pond" today and came back with lots of "treasures", so make sure to empty those backpacks!

When we weren't exploring the pond, we were collecting data on our plants! And, making sure they have the right amount of soil, light, and water!
And, we have Garden Names!!!
First graders at Elm Creek are celebrating the arrival of spring by learning about plants and how they grow! First graders will be visiting Malmborg’s Nursery in Rogers the week of May 18th for a tour of the greenhouses and fun activities to support their learning.
It is my hope that through all of these experiences your firstie will develop a love for things that grow and everything that supports those things from pollinators to worms in the soil, to rain showers and so much more.
