SNOWSTORM EVE!!!!!

Pete, the Cat, is ready with his hat and scarf!  He is VERY excited about our first snow!
And, so am I! (And, so are these "firsties", I'm sure!:)  So, tomorrow we celebrate with walks and play and exploration while we learn and practice procedures for those snow clothes! Please make sure that your child comes to school with appropriate clothing as they will go out for recess and we will be outside often as a class (Snow pants, coat, snow boots, hat, scarf, mittens/gloves).  As you can imagine "housing" this extra clothing is not easy, so I will use the excitement and anticipation of the first snow in my favor!  We will go outside often tomorrow, each time practicing how to put - on our snow clothes, take them off, and how/where to hang them to dry when not in use. My goal is for your student to come home with everything he/she comes to school with!:)  It is not a good idea to leave this clothing at school.  However, you might want to send a pair of shoes for your student to keep at school for use during the day when snow boots are not being worn.

So...tomorrow will be a "Snowy White Day" with snow stories, activities, writings, and more. Look for pictures on tomorrow's Blog Post.
